While Chinese phones are synonymous with majority of their Android Smartphones being in the Dual SIM Category the Goophone X1+ is a first step in the triple SIM arena.

The Phone is said to have 1.2Ghz Quad Core MT6589 Chipset with 1GB RAM, 8MP camera and 2000mAH battery. Pricing is expected to be lower than $150.

One can make calls using the network of one SIM while using Internet on the other SIM networks to browse the Web.

This is a step in the right direction as this would encourage most other Chinese smartphone makers to follow suit and urge Samsung, HTC and other to release Dual SIM versions of their flagships Outside China in India too.

While the Dual SIM version of the HTC one was released in India recently we are yet to see the same from Samsung or Nokia!
